These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to EmojiDB at https://emojidb.info. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site. Our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer are part of how we operate; please read them as well.

The service

EmojiDB offers a free web toolkit: keyword collections of emoji, kaomoji, and text art, plus copy helpers. We may change, pause, or remove pages at any time. We do not promise any particular uptime or that a character will paste correctly in every destination app.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Attack, scrape in an abusive way, or overload the site (reasonable indexing by search engines is fine).
• Misrepresent EmojiDB as an official product of Unicode or of any phone or chat vendor.
• Use copied characters to harass, defraud, or break the law.
• Interfere with advertising in a way that violates Google AdSense or similar partner policies.

Intellectual property

The EmojiDB name, layout, original writing, and selection/arrangement of collections are ours or used under license. Unicode emoji characters themselves are defined by the Unicode Consortium; platform artwork belongs to the vendors who draw those fonts. You may copy characters for personal and ordinary communication use. You may not copy our articles wholesale or frame the site without permission.

Advertising

The site may show third-party ads, including Google AdSense. Ads are provided by those networks under their policies. We are not responsible for advertiser landing pages. Clicking ads accidentally or using software to generate fake clicks is prohibited.

Disclaimer of warranties and liability

The site is provided as is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Our liability is limited as described on the Disclaimer page.

Changes

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date on this page is the effective date. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
